Notes:
- Each sampling bottle or flasks must be wrapped individually with soft material (minimum thickness: 50 mL: 0.5 cm; 100 mL: 1 cm, 500 mL: 5 cm).
- For shipment we recommend international couriers (UPS, FedEx, TNT, DHL, others) but Standard Post may provide a similar service.
- Samples should be in our laboratory at least 2-3 days after sampling. This is usually the case for UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT or other courier services.
In all other cases we recommend pasteurisation of samples (see notes on page Sampling).
- For customs, declare goods as either:
– ”Distilled water samples for analysis, no commercial value” (Customs tariff number: 28530010) or as
– ”Sea water samples for analysis, no commercial value” (Customs tariff number: 25010010).
The ”total value for customs” has to be below 20 €. Do not mark a specific time for delivery – this is expensive and not necessary; delivery is typically in the morning.
