It made us believe that there must be some interest in this field of research.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>DBU<\/strong> (1996\/97)<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"> <div class=\"col-md-2\">\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-645 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img49.jpg?resize=137%2C85\" alt=\"\" width=\"137\" height=\"85\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img49.jpg?w=137 137w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img49.jpg?resize=80%2C50 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 137px) 100vw, 137px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<p>In the first year of DOC-Labor almost no orders came in analytical services. The time was used to write a proposal to Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU) to turn LC-OCD into a marketable product. Without this funding, DOC-Labor would only be a service lab and not a manufacturer of LC-OCD.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Scientific Research Award<\/strong> (2000)<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"> <div class=\"col-md-2\">\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-647 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img50.jpg?resize=163%2C106\" alt=\"\" width=\"163\" height=\"106\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<p>This award covered an appealing amount of money and a 1-year subscription to Journal Nature. It is practically unknown as it was given only once &#8211; the issuing company merged in the following year and the award was suspended.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Paul Cohen Memorial Award<\/strong> (2006)<br \/>\nInternational Water Conference \u00ae<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"> <div class=\"col-md-2\">\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-648 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img51.jpg?resize=300%2C120\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"120\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img51.jpg?resize=300%2C120 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/doc-labor.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/wwb_img51.jpg?w=491 491w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<p>This award came from a presentation in the U.S. where DOC-LABOR is almost unknown.
